Product Overview

The SN65HVD33DG4 is a 3-state Differential Line Driver and Differential-Input Line Receiver that operates with 3.3V power supply. Each driver and receiver has separate input and output pins for full-duplex bus communication designs. They are designed for RS-422 and RS-485 data transmission over cable lengths of up to 1500 meters. It is fully enabled with no external enabling pins. The device has active-high driver enables and active-low receiver enables. A low, less than 1µA, standby current can be achieved by disabling both the driver and receiver.

Device has limited built-in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates.
