Product Overview

AD8609 is a quad micropower rail-to-rail input and output amplifier. It features very low offset voltage as well as low input voltage and current noise. The amplifie uses a patented trimming technique that achieves superior precision without laser trimming. The part is fully specified to operate from 1.8V to 5V single supply or from ±0.9V to ±2.5V dual supply. The combination of low offsets, low noise, very low input bias currents, and low power consumption makes the AD8603 especially useful in portable and loop-powered instrumentation. The ability to swing rail to rail at both the input and output enables designers to buffer CMOS ADCs, DACs, ASICs, and other wide output swing devices in low power, single-supply systems. Applications includes battery-powered instrumentation, multipole filters, sensors, low power ASIC input or output amplifiers.
  • Low offset voltage of 50μV maximum (VS = 3.3V at VCM = 0.5V and 2.8V, TA = 25°C)
  • Low input bias current of 1pA maximum at VS = 5V, VCM = VS/2, TA = 25°C
  • Low noise of 22nV/√Hz, micropower: 50μA maximum
  • Low distortion, no phase reversal, unity gain stable
  • Typical large signal voltage gain of 450V/mV at RL = 10Kohm, 0.5V VO 4.5V, VS = 5V, TA = 25°C
  • Typical power supply rejection ratio of 100dB at 1.8V VS 5V
  • 14-lead SOIC-N package, -40°C to +125°C temperature range
