Product Overview
6ED2742S01QXTMA1 is a MOTIX™ 6ED2742S01Q three-phase motor control gate driver IC for battery-supplied BLDC motor control. Integrated bootstrap diodes are used to supply the three external high sides charging bootstrap capacitors and support 100% duty cycle operation by a trickle charge pump. Protection features include under voltage lockout, over current protection with configurable threshold, fault communication, and automatic fault clear. The output drivers feature a high-pulse current buffer stage designed for minimum driver cross-conduction. A current sense operational amplifier with a selectable gain is integrated between the VSS and COM. Application includes cordless power tools, multicomputer and drones, robotics, and rusted semiconductor solution for light electric vehicles.
- Bootstrap voltage (VB node) of +160V, high power density
- Floating channel designed for bootstrap operation, smaller footprints
- Integrated current sense amplifier (CSA) with selectable gain, high durability and reliability
- Excellent thermal management, integrated over-current protection with selectable VREF threshold
- 100% duty cycle operation with trickle charge pump per high side, scalability
- Integrated low RON, ultra-fast bootstrap diodes, functionality (100% duty cycle for handled tools)
- Independent under voltage lockout for both high and low side, simplicity (easy to use)
- Integrated shoot-through protection with built-in dead time
- 32-lead QFN package
- Ambient temperature range from -40 to 125°C
