This evaluation board has been developed for ROHM’s step-down switching regulator customers evaluating BD9328EFJ and/or BD9329AEFJ. While accepting a wide power supply of 4.2-18V, a step down output of 3.3V or any external resistor defined voltage can be produced. The ICs have two integrated low resistance N-channel MOSFETs and a fixed synchronization frequency of 380 kHz. A Soft Start circuit prevents in-rush current during startup along with UVLO (low voltage error prevention circuit) and TSD (thermal shutdown detection) protection circuits. An EN pin allows for simple ON/OFF control of the IC to reduce standby current consumption.

This evaluation board has been developed for ROHM’s synchronous buck DC/DC converter customers evaluating BD9109FVM. While accepting a power supply of 4.5-5.5V, an output of 3.3V can be produced. The IC has internal 350mohm Pch MOSFET and 250mohm Nch MOSFET and a fixed synchronization frequency of 1 MHz. A Soft Start circuit prevents in-rush current during startup along with UVLO (low voltage error prevention circuit) and TSD (thermal shutdown detection) protection circuits. An EN pin allows for simple ON/OFF control of the IC to reduce standby current consumption. Employs a current mode control system to provide faster transient response to sudden change in load.

This evaluation board has been developed for ROHM’s step-down switching regulator customers evaluating BD9673EFJ and/or BD9876EFJ. While accepting a wide power supply of 7-42V, a step down output of 1.2V/1.8V/3.3V/5V or any other user defined voltage can be produced. The ICs have an internal 200mohm Nch MOSFET (3.5A max) and a synchronization frequency range of 200 kHz to 500 kHz. A Soft Start circuit prevents in-rush current during startup along with UVLO (low voltage error prevention circuit) and TSD (thermal shutdown detection) protection circuits. An EN pin allows for simple ON/OFF control of the IC to reduce standby current consumption.

This evaluation board has been developed for ROHM’s H-Bridge driver customers evaluating the BD62x2FP series. The BD62x2FP series can operate across a wide range of power supply voltages (from 3V to 32V max), supporting output currents of up to 2A. PWM signal control (20 kHz-100 kHz) or VREF control modes are used to vary motor rotation speeds. ROHM’s ICs are complete with over current protection (OCP), over voltage protection (OVP), thermal shutdown (TSD) and under voltage lock out (UVLO) protection circuits while also facilitating a low-power consumption design (10µA max). Overlap (shoot-through) protection to prevent high currents during motor reversal or breaking is also built in. In addition, the devices are designed to withstand up to 4 kV ESD.
