3417-7640

The 3417-7640 is a 40-way 2-row 0.100 x 0.100-inch Wire-to-board Socket for 0.050-inch pitch cable with gold-plated copper alloy contacts. The 3000 series connector comes with a glass filled polyester (PBT) insulator and accommodates 28/26AWG solid and stranded wire. It has closed end cover (for End cable termination), military polarization with centerbump and 40-contacts for plastic strain relief. The wiremount socket mates with 3M headers, plugs and pin strips for quick connect/disconnect capability. Transfer adhesive on covers provides precision alignment between connector and cables resulting in high yield terminations.
