Product Overview
AD5415YRUZ-REEL7 is a CMOS, 12bit, dual-channel, current output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). This device operates from a 2.5V to 5.5V power supply, making it suited to battery-powered applications and other applications. As a result of being manufactured on a CMOS submicron process, this device offers excellent 4-quadrant multiplication characteristics with large signal multiplying bandwidths of 10MHz. The applied external reference input voltage (VREF) determines the full-scale output current. An integrated feedback resistor (RFB) provides temperature tracking and full-scale voltage output when combined with an external current to voltage precision amplifier. It is used in applications such as portable battery-powered applications, waveform generators, analogue processing, instrumentation applications, programmable amplifiers and attenuators, digitally controlled calibration, programmable filters and oscillators, composite video, ultrasound, gain, offset, and voltage trimming.

- Reference multiplying bandwidth is 10MHz typical at (VREF = ±3.5 p-p, DAC loaded all 1s)
- On-chip 4-quadrant resistors allow flexible output ranges
- Digital-to-analogue glitch impulse is 3nV-sec typical at (1LSB change around major carry, VREF = 0V)
- Output noise spectral density is 25nV/√Hz typical at (1KHz, VDD = 2.5V to 5.5V, VREF = 10V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 24-lead TSSOP package
