Product Overview
ADP7158 is a linear regulator that operates from 2.3V to 5.5V and provides upto 2A of output current. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, it provides high power supply rejection and ultralow noise, achieving excellent line and load transient response with only a 10µF ceramic output capacitor. It is widely used in application such as regulation to noise sensitive applications: phase-locked loops (PLLs), voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs), and PLLs with integrated VCOs, communications and infrastructure, backhaul and microwave links etc.
- Output noise is 1.6µV rms typical at (10Hz to 100KHz)
- Noise spectral density is 1.7nV/√Hz typical at (10KHz to 1MHz)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 70dB typical at (1KHz to 100KHz)
- Dropout voltage is 200mV typical at (IOUT = 2A, VOUT = 3.3V)
- Initial accuracy is ±0.6% at (ILOAD = 10mA), precision enable
- Accuracy over line, load, and temperature is ±1.5%
- Quiescent current is 4mA typical at (ILOAD = 0µA)
- Low shutdown current is 0.2μA typical
- Output voltage is 3.3V, operating junction temperature is -40°C to +125°C
- Package style is 10-lead LFCSP
