Product Information
Product Overview
HMC1040LP3CE is a self-biased GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier. This amplifier operates between 24GHz and 43.5GHz, delivering 23dB of small signal gain, 2.2dB noise figure, and output IP3 of +22dBm, while requiring only 70mA from a +2.5V supply. The P1dB output power of +12dBm enables the LNA to function as a LO driver for many of Hittite’s balanced, I/Q and image reject mixers. It features I/Os that are DC blocked and internally matched to 50 ohm and is ideal for high capacity microwave radios and VSAT applications. It is widely used in application such as point-to-point radios, test instrumentation, SatCom transponders & VSAT, industrial sensors, EW & ECM subsystems etc.
- Gain variation over temperature is 0.022dB /°C typ at (24GHz to 27.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Noise figure is 2.7dB typ at (24GHz to 27.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input return loss is 11dB typ at (24GHz to 27.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Output return loss is 16dB typ at (24GHz to 27.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Output power for 1dB compression is 12dBm typ at (24GHz to 27.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Saturated output power (Psat) is 14dBm typ at (24GHz to 27.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 16-lead QFN
