Product Overview
LTM4659IV#PBF is a complete 10A step-down switching mode μModule® regulator. The package includes the switching controller, power MOSFETs, inductor, and all support components. Operating over an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V, the LTM4659 supports an output voltage range of 0.5V to VIN set by external resistors. Its high-efficiency design delivers a 10A continuous output current. It employs a Silent Switcher 2 architecture with internal hot loop bypass capacitors to achieve both low EMI and high efficiency at high switching frequencies. The LTM4659 also supports frequency synchronization, multiphase operation, selectable pulse-skipping mode operation, and output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing. Its high switching frequency and current mode architecture enable very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. Applications include telecom, datacom, networking system, optical module, industrial equipment, point-of-load regulation.
