Product Overview
S12ZVM32EVB is a development board for the S12 MagniV S12ZVM 16-bit MCUs targeted for 2-phase DC and 3-phase BLDC or PMSM motor control applications. The S12ZVM integrates a MCU with an S12Z core, 5V voltage regulator, LIN physical layer and gate driver unit capable of controlling up to 6 power MOSFETs. The board includes an onboard OSBDM, USB-to-SCI interface, resolver interface, hall sensor interface, an external 4MHz oscillator, current sense resistors, multiple op-amps for signal conditioning of voltage and current measurements, and the option for an external CAN transceiver. It is targeted for automotive applications such as HVAC blowers, engine cooling fans, wiper systems, fuel or water pumps.
