SimpliFiber Pro's FindFiber Remote ID sources are valuable accessories that help free your technicians from tedious cable routing identification to work on other projects. In the past, multiple technicians were necessary to monitor both ends of a link to coordinate and match up fibre combinations over talk sets. Now, a single technician can perform this work with FindFiber Remote ID sources and a SimpliFiber Pro power meter. With FindFiber sources plugged into remote patch-panel ports or drops that transmit unique identifier signals to a SimpliFiber Pro power meter on the opposite end, an individual can easily and quickly identify the physical location of cabling runs to ensure polarity and the correct location of each drop at the central panel.
